Aesthetically they cleaned up the cables under the board, removed the old connectors at the top and added a dial for your light output. The Green Houston Quantum Board LED Grow Light 600W produces 19% more light than a single-ended 1000W HPS, with 38% less power usage. A large aluminium heat sink keeps the diodes cool, reducing dust buildup and eliminating noise. The low-profile design gives you freedom of placement, while coverage is excellent.

LIGHT TEMPERATURE AND STAGE OF PLANT GROWTH
For the vegetative stage of cannabis plants, cool light is recommended, one that emits a "daylight" colour with a high Kelvin of 6,000–6,500K.
For the flowering stage, warm light with a reddish tone, about 2,800K, is optimal.
Grow lights with a colour temperature of about 3000K - 3,500K, can be used for both vegging and flowering, whilst still achieving great results. This eliminates the need to alternate between different lights for the different stages of a plant’s life cycle.
We highly recommend the 3000K option.
3000K vs 3500K vs 4000K
The 3000K light is well suited for both the vegging and flowering stages. If you want to grow plants from seedlings to flowering under one light, the 3000K light is your best option.
The 4000K and 3500K lights are cooler lights and are well suited for vegging but do not perform to the same level as the 3000K during flowering. These two lights are used most effectively in conjunction with a 3000K light. Run the 4000K/3500K lights during the vegging stage and the 3000K light during the flowering stage. Vegging under the higher temperature lights encourages the plants to grow in a stable, healthy way. The increased blue light discourages the plants from searching for light resulting in more compact, symmetrical plants with an improved structure.
Far-red is light that exists between the wavelengths of 700 – 800 nm. This is on the cusp of the visible light range, which means that humans can only see red light very faintly. The addition of far-red creates a visibly warmer light as opposed to just white light.
Far-red has much deeper penetration than white light. The far-red light reaches all the way to the bottom of your plants. This triggers the shade avoidance response causing an increase in leaf size, stem length and overall plant height.
This growth is proportional to the ratio of far-red to red light received by the plant. This means that the shady areas of the plant will experience the greatest effects of the far red.
Far-red will increase the rate of flowering of the plant as well as the mass of the yield.
